A picnic in the heart of Valpolicella with a pottery workshop in the vineyard
Are you a group of at least 10 people looking to enjoy an authentic experience amidst the vineyards of Valpolicella?
Our winery invites you to embark on a unique journey of discovery into our origins, starting with a guided walk through the vineyards, where we’ll share the history, traditions and spirit of our region with you right there in the vineyard.
The walk connects our historic vineyard to the estate’s orchard: here, during the summer months from June to August, you’ll be able to feel the ripe peaches for yourselves and pick them straight from the tree, enjoying a simple, authentic moment in contact with nature.
You will also visit a vineyard dating back to 1967, restored by the Fugolo family, with vines over 100 years old: a true treasure trove of wine-growing history and tradition.
An experience designed as a journey of discovery through Valpolicella, its land and its roots.
The tasting will be led by Sofia, daughter of the owner Gianluca Fugolo, who, together with her father and sister, passionately runs the family farm.
The experience will continue with a tasting of our extra virgin olive oil, produced on the morainic hills of Lake Garda, and three selected wines from our cellar, served on the panoramic veranda overlooking the vineyard.
We will be tasting Valpolicella’s most iconic wines, accompanied by a traditional platter of cold cuts:
Rosé Brioso
Corvina Veronese IGT
Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC
Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG
The tasting will take place on our veranda overlooking the vineyards, offering a moment of total relaxation and conviviality.
Farm picnic in the vineyard
The farm picnic at Azienda Agricola Fugolo Gianluca is the perfect wine experience for those who wish to enjoy nature at their own pace, whilst admiring the wonderful landscapes of Valpolicella.
At the end of the tasting, you will receive a picnic box to enjoy a private moment amongst the vineyards.
The picnic box includes:
Caprese salad (mozzarella and cherry tomatoes)
Cold pasta with pesto and cherry tomatoes
Slices of fresh bread
A dessert
A glass of wine
1 bottle of water
Biodegradable cutlery
Pottery workshop in the vineyard
Afterwards, another special experience awaits you: a pottery workshop set amidst the vineyard.
All materials and tools will be provided by us: all you need to bring is a desire to experiment, relax and let yourself be inspired by the nature around you.
